Here is the Feminist Media article I am analyzing today:

“As Andrew Tate languishes in jail, a new celebrity anti-feminist creator is filling the gap. Unlike him, she’s a woman.” Lindsay Dodgson. Business Insider. Businessinsider.com. March 22, 2023.

Hannah Pearl Davis is a popular social media personality and is anti-feminism. She is the “anti-feminist creator” mentioned in the article’s title. At the time the article was written, Davis was 26-years-old and is one of ten children. Of course, the whole purpose of the article is to undermine Davis and to bolster feminism.

The article includes this opinion about Davis from someone named Barrett Pall. It is a perfect example of the point I want to highlight today – feminism is the absence of standards for women.

Pall said while Davis is clearly enjoying the notoriety and the followers for now, she may one day find she is “hurt by her own rhetoric.”

“She has to be perfect and not end up a single mom, or not end up pregnant, out of marriage, or gaining weight, or whatever else it is,” he said. “She’s on a pedestal, and the only place to go from there is down.”

Watch out, Hannah! Don’t set the standards too high! Pall’s list of concerns really tells you a lot about his outlook on women and life in general. His long, long, list of imperfections that could befall Davis includes pregnancy, weight gain, and “whatever else” might happen.

I guarantee that a young woman like Davis has given a lot of thought about marriage, pregnancy, and weight gain, because she spends a good portion of her time talking about these things. Seriously, does Pall really think “she’s on a pedestal” and “has to be perfect” just because of her anti-feminism?

And, what is the alternative? Feminism? Which is to have no standards whatsoever or expectations for women just so that they don’t feel any pressure to be “perfect”? There is plenty of middle ground on this matter. Women aren’t perfect, far from it, but, yes, society should have standards and expectations for women and men.

Pall describes himself as non-binary. He is also a “life coach”, which means he has almost no credentials at all, and he is a flaming feminist.

Feminists always try to lower standards for women and Pall’s opinion is an explicit, written, example of this. I’m actually a little surprised the author and editor kept Pall’s comment in the article. His comment is also a good example of how men, even feminist men like Pall, are simply just not as good at deceit and manipulation as feminist women. (Guidelines 1b-1c: Omni-Deceit and Manipulation.)

For comparison, all of the feminist women quoted in the article make vague, perfunctory, allusions to misogyny. Here is a quote from someone named Mia Shah-Dand, “Even well-meaning people become dupes in their whole cycle of just getting hatred ratings”. Someone named Laura Danger is quoted saying, “The deeper she [Davis] gets into this misogynistic messaging, the more she’s being rewarded by these men”.

Notice that a certain feminist mercy is extended within the general call to otherwise “well-meaning people” who have become “dupes” and given in to temptation. The “dupes” could be forgiven because they don’t know what they are doing, as long as they return to promoting feminist ideology. Danger offers an effectual call to Davis who is falling deeper into blaspheming feminism which only pleases the reprobate.

That a non-binary person like Pall is offering advice to “perfect” women like Davis is backward. His understanding of human nature is an abomination. If he is your life coach, find another coach. What is Pall’s alternative? For good women to stay silent? That only feminist men and women are allowed to speak out and only to lower standards for women?

Pall really doesn’t need to worry very much because women such as Davis are exceedingly rare. Women hate to enforce morality, standards, and expectations, on women, they only like to enforce morality, standards, and expectations, on men. And, it isn’t because women feel any pressure to be perfect – they all manage to successfully resist that pressure – it’s that women leaders who promote any standards at all for women are unpopular with other women. Of course, feminists know all of this full-well. They know exactly who their audience is and what women want to hear. (See The Daily Vos entry Popularity vs. Principle.)

Feminism is the absence of virtue. This article shows that feminism is also the absence of standards for women. Alison Jaggar’s socialist feminism wants to abolish all western institutions. Socialist feminism’s goal is the absence of western institutions. Feminism is nihilistic.
